TTUG was formed in the spring of 2015 by 19 founding counties that were originally part of the Texas Conference of Urban Countes (CUC). We include elected positions with two‐year terms consisting of a President, Vice‐President, Secretary and Treasurer, and will also have a position of Past‐ President.
Our meetings are conducted in accordance with Proper Parliamentary Procedure.
Our current mission is to promote, maintain and continuously improve a fully integrated criminal justice management system that could be applied across the great State of Texas and to do so in collaboration with member counties and Tyler Technologies in the most economical fashion possible.
All TTUG members have an equal voice and as a whole represent strength in numbers.
Our future expectation is to expand this effort to other Records Management Systems offered by Tyler Technologies outlined earlier.
TTUG provides a means to leverage collective expertise and resources to affect direction of an ever‐evolving technologically driven integrated records management landscape to include but not limited to our Criminal Justice Management.
Member counties also benefit by virtue of costsharing among the many. This is a realized benefit especially among those counties with limited resources.
