- No increase in tax rate for 10-plus years
- Senior Citizen tax freeze
- Program to pave all county roads by 2008
- Participation with cities to preserve open space and develop parks
and trails
- Numerous major transportation improvements to include President George
Bush Turnpike, US 75 widening, Dallas North Tollway extensions, and
SH 121
- Improved health care services for children
- Enhance health care safety net for the county's poorest population
- Cooperation with Cities of Plano, Dallas and others in County to jointly
fund thoroughfare street improvements to include Preston Road, Frankfort
Road, Midway Road, Plano Road, Park Boulevard, Spring Creek Parkway
and many others
- New electronic voting system
- Expansions to jail and juvenile detention center

- To work closely with county cities and regional authorities to provide
the best transportation system possible for our county and region
- To promote economic development in our county and continue to expand
employment opportunities for our citizens

- Creation of Legacy Park
- Relocation of EDS and Frito Lay Headquarters to Plano
- Extension of Dallas North Tollway from Frankfort Road to SH 121

Jack is married to his wife of 44 years, Pat, who is
Retired Executive Director of the Maurice Barnett Geriatric Wellness Center.
Jack and Pat also have a growing family which includes Amy Hatchell &
Chris Briggs, Beth & David Jamison, and grandson, Jack William Jamison.
