The newly constructed 54,000 square foot Allen Public Library and Civic
Auditorium facility is located in the heart of the developing Central Business
District. The library has a collection of over 115,000 books, recordings, videos
and art prints and 140 periodical subscriptions.
Services include public internet workstations, interlibrary
loan, continuous book sale, and film/video borrowing from the Northeast Texas
Library System. Meeting rooms are available for limited use by the public. On-site coffee shop is
also available in gallery lobby.

The Celina Community Library is located at the high school campus and is available to
students, teachers and the Celina community. The library includes a reference section with
various encyclopedias, dictionaries, college information and test preparation guides.
Resources also include computer workstations with internet access and various software programs
and online research databases.

The Charles J. Rike Memorial Library is offers a broad collection of
books, audio books, and videos. Additional services include public computers
with internet access, a genealogy section, inter-library loan, a copier,
printers, fax machine, and typewriter.
The library also contains several artifacts about Audie Murphy including
stands of photographs, newspaper clippings, drawings, and other information.

in the system of Collin County Community College District Libraries.

products for children and adults and Microsoft productivity software and
tutorials.

include VERNON’S TEXAS CODES ANNOTATED and UNITED STATES CODE ANNOTATED.
Patrons have access to the library catalog, Internet, Microsoft Office
and database searching on library terminals. Interlibrary loan is also
available.

The Rita and Truett Smith Public Library offers a variety of resources and materials,
including four public internet access computers, a copier, equipment checkout,
magazine checkout, phone renewals, preschool story time on Wednesdays, and
a Summer Reading Club. An interlibrary loan service is available for the Library
to request materials from other libraries for patrons. Electronic resources are
available in the Library and through the Texas State Electronic Library.
Additionally, there is a program room in the Library that can be reserved.
