COUNTY BURN BAN LIFTED

A burn ban issued in late January for unincorporated areas of Collin County was lifted as of March 25, 2008. Due to recent rainfall and the Texas Forest Service downgrading the county’s rating on the Drought Index, the extreme fire danger existing in Collin County has subsided. However, outdoor burning in unincorporated areas of the county still requires a permit from the Fire Marshal’s Office. For more information, call 927-548-5576 during business hours. Additionally, please report any outdoor fires immediately, as current weather and ground conditions can cause even a small fire to spread rapidly.

Our Mission

The Collin County Fire Marshal's Office is dedicated to helping provide the highest quality of life sought by the Citizens of Collin County through the application of adopted codes and State statutes.
