These maps were prepared from weather data and field surveys and represent an overview of the recent Westminster tornado. The tornado path was determined by crews that conducted damage surveys and supplied addresses to the GIS department for geocoding. The varying levels of structure damage were recorded and mapped. The GIS department supports other county departments with timely data throughout the year and this cooperation becomes extremely important in times of crisis.
