Offices Closed for Thanksgiving Holiday: All county offices will be closed on Thursday, Nov. 23, and Friday, Nov. 24, for the holiday. This includes parks offices, public works, courts and all other administrative offices. Offices will re-open Monday, Nov. 27.

Helping with the Unforeseen

The Emergency Grant Program of the Collin County Historical Commission was started in 2009.

Its purpose is to give Collin County historical organizations a helping hand when the unpredictable happens, whether by nature or man. This program offers a limited amount of funding for emergency repairs to local historical groups’ buildings or sites.

Emergency grants may be applied for at any time, subject to the availability of funds on hand.

The historical organizations must be members of the Collin County Historical Coalition and must have 501 (c) 3 or 13 status.
