Regular full-time employees are automatically covered by $50,000 term life insurance coverage the first day of the month following the initial 90 days of continuous active service. Employees also receive an additional $50,000 of accidental death coverage. The County pays the entire cost of this coverage. Benefits continue at a reduced rate after age 65.
