The County schedules holidays each fiscal year. Designated holidays generally include New Year's Day, Martin Luther King Day, Good Friday, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day, Day after Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, and Christmas Day. Other days may be scheduled. Fiscal year 2009 includes eleven holidays.
