Bart Peddicord Community Center
The Bart Peddicord Community Center is named for community leader Bart Peddicord, who was a long-time member of the Wylie Planning Commission. The Community Center, formerly the Wylie Post Office, houses Wylie's Seniors Program and Meals on Wheels. The Center can also be rented for meetings, special events and parties.

Wylie Parks
Currently, the City of Wylie features more than 330 acres of city parkland including city parks, public parks, park area dedication, open space, and preserve. In 2003, the Wylie City Council approved a Parks Master Plan to serve as a blueprint for Wylie's park system development to fulfill the growing community's needs.

Community Park
This 43 acre park is located at Thomas Street and Pirate Drive
 
Creekside Park
Currently, this 13 acre neighborhood park has one acre developed. It is located at the intersection of Lewis Drive and Hinnant Court in the Creekside subdivision.
 
Eureka Park
This 4.5 acre neighborhood park is located at East Brown and Rutherford Lane. It features picnic tables, benches and a small walking trail.
 
Founders Park
This 65 acre park is located at FM 544 and FM 1378 (Country Club Road), just behind Pirate Stadium at Wylie High School.
 
Friendship Park
This 4.9 acre neighborhood is located at White Ibis Way and Scottsdale Drive.
 
Joel Scott Memorial Park
This 8 acres of dedicated parkland and Wylie ISD property is located at Brown Street and Westgate Way, just behind Birmingham Elementary. This is the newest of Wylie's parks and will have additions made throughout the next year.
 
Kirby Park
This .5 acre neighborhood park is located at Second Street and Masters Avenue.
 
Lakeside Estates Park
This 2.1 acre park is located at Lagoon Drive and Lakehurst Drive.
 
Olde City Park
This 2 acre downtown park is located at Ballard Avenue and Highway 78.
 
Riverway Park
This park is located off Riverway in the Sage Creek subdivision.
 
Trinity Trail
The Trinity Trail is a 9 mile horse/walking trail located near Eastfork Park by Lake Lavon. The Trinity Trail Preservation Organization, an all-volunteer organization, encourages hikers, nature lovers and horse owners to use the scenic trail.
 
Valentine Park
This 3.3 acre neighborhood is located at Ballard Avenue and Birmingham Street.
