IF A PERSON IS NOT IN AN IMMEDIATE CRISIS BUT IS IN NEED OF MENTAL ASSISTANCE WHAT DO I DO?

Go to your local Justice of the Peace office or to the Mental Commitment office and fill out a Mental Health warrant.

WHO CAN FILL OUT A MENTAL WARRANT?

Anyone over the age of 18.

IF THE PROPOSED PATIENT IS NOT CURRENTLY LOCATED WITHIN COLLIN COUNTY BORDERS WHAT DO I DO?

Contact the Mental Commitment office for that county.
