Helping Children in Need Lead Normal Lives

Most people don’t think of Collin County as a place where foster children live, but they do – up to 250 on any given day. And while there are hardworking and loving families opening their homes up to care for these children in need, support from the state is minimal, covering basics like food and some healthcare. It’s challenging to provide what these foster kids need to be on par with their neighborhood and school peers.

Which is why Collin County supports Foster Friends, a non-profit organization committed to providing ordinary comforts and opportunities to Collin County foster kids. Because every child should be able to experience the typical things that so many of us take for granted.
