This summer, the State District Courts, District Attorney,
District Clerk, Jury Services and Law Library will be moving to their
new home in Collin County’s new courthouse at Bloomdale Rd. and U.S. 75. All other
courts and county departments are staying where they are for now.
The Commissioners Court, Adult Probation, County Clerk, Human Resources and a few
other county departments will remain at the McDonald Street facility for a few more years.
This move to the new courthouse also does not affect any departments and
services currently housed in the University Drive Courthouse Facility at 1800 N.
Graves St. (at Graves and University).
The following offices will be closed from Monday, July
30th to Friday, August 3rd:
- State District Courts (199th, 219th, 296th, 366th, 380th, 401st, 416th, and 417th)
- District Attorney’s Office (all departments currently housed in the current McDonald Street courthouse facility)
- District Clerk’s Office
- Jury Services
- Law Library
All of these offices will reopen at the new courthouse
on Bloomdale Road on Monday, August 6th.
