Collin County Courthouse Café open for business
You want fries with that, right? We thought you should know that the
Collin County Courthouse Café is open to the public five days a week, and you can get house-cut fries
or fresh-made potato chips to go with your burger.
Located on the lower level of the Russell A. Steindam Courts Building (the courthouse), next to the Law Library, the café offers short-order items from their grill as well as plate-lunch entrees, Monday through Friday, from 7:30 a.m.-3:30 p.m.
Breakfast and lunch entrees vary from quiche ($3.99), biscuits-and-gravy ($1.99) and breakfast tacos ($1.99), to ¼-pound cheeseburgers ($5.39), deli sandwich plates ($6.99), and daily lunch specials ($6.99) such as pot roast, fajitas or fried chicken. Of course, there are salads, desserts, fresh coffee, soft drinks and such, to boot.
We’ve posted full menus for
breakfast (7:30-10:30 a.m.) and
lunch (10:30 a.m.-2 p.m.) with price listings, as well as a monthly calendar of
lunch entrees.
Also, for the time being, the café is offering a Cookie Happy Hour, from 2:30 p.m. until closing – or until these fresh-from-the-oven cookies run out, whichever comes first.
