Collin County temporarily ‘relocating’ to Austin

Who: An estimated 250 Collin County residents plus state legislators

What: To participate in the annual “Collin County Legislative Day”

Where: State Capitol complex, Austin

When: Monday, February 28th through Tuesday, March 1st

Why: Business, civic, education, city and county leaders will meet with state lawmakers to discuss transportation, education and healthcare.

Media invitation: Reporters who are interested in attending may contact the Collin County Public Information Office by Wednesday, February 23rd, for assistance in seeking accommodations. A program detailing each event is also available.
