Collin County Health Care Foundation announces grant funding opportunity

(McKinney, TX) - The Collin County Health Care Foundation is once again announcing the availability of grant funding for health-oriented projects and programs. A grant amount of $100,000 will be made available to two or more organizations. Preferences will be given to proposals that address the health and well-being of County residents; that promote volunteer participation and citizen involvement in the project; that targets at-risk, underserved or vulnerable populations; and that demonstrates new approaches and techniques in the solution of community problems.

Last year, the Collin County Adult Clinic and the Plano Children's Medical Clinic each received $50,000 for their facilities and outreach programs.

Completed applications are due Thursday, July 15th by 4 p.m. and may be mailed or hand delivered to: Collin County Health Care Foundation, Attn: Grants Committee c/o Michelle Patrick, 210 S.
