Collin County Commissioners Court to hold emergency session regarding Hurricane Katrina

Notice is hereby given that the Collin County Commissioners Court will meet in an EMERGENCY SESSION on FRIDAY, SEPTEMBER 9, 2005 at 9:00 A.M. in the Commissioners Courtroom on the 6th floor of the Collin County Courthouse, at 210 S. McDonald Street, McKinney, Texas. This Emergency Meeting is in accordance to LGC 551.045 due to the urgent necessity for immediate action because of an imminent threat to public health and safety. Following is the agenda for said meeting:

9:00 A.M.

GENERAL DISCUSSION

1. Consideration for ratification and extension of the Emergency Declaration for Collin County in coordination with State and National declarations, Commissioners Court.
2. Presentation and update on efforts made towards the Katrina Hurricane victim aid for shelter, health services, job placements, and matching up separated relatives by local municipalities, Commissioners Court.
3. Presentation, update, and any action on internal Collin County efforts, needs and plans for the Katrina Hurricane victims, by Homeland Security, Health Care, Sheriff Department, Auditors, Purchasing, Public Information, and Commissioners Court.
