Grant reception to honor Collin County agencies
(McKinney, TX) – Nine non-profit organizations will be presented with grants by the Collin County Commissioners Court and the Collin County Health Care Foundation Advisory Board on Tuesday. An award of $194,000 in grant funding will be shared by these organizations, which provide projects or programs that address needs in the community.
Each of the following organizations will share in grant funding:

| - Children and Community Health Center | $25,000 |
| - Frisco Cares Children’s Clinic | $25,000 |
| - Collin County Committee on Aging | $25,000 |
| - The Assistance Center of Collin County Allen Community Outreach The Community Lifeline Center of McKinney Frisco Family Services Center |
$21,500 |
| - Collin County Adult Clinic | $20,000 |
| - Journey Home | $17,500 |
| - Geriatric Wellness Center of Collin County | $10,000 |
| - Plano Children’s Medical Clinic | $25,000 |
This is the third year in which Collin County has provided grant funds to area non-profit health care agencies.
A reception will be held at 5:15 p.m. on Tuesday, October 18th in the Collin County Central Jury Room, 314 S. Chestnut Street in McKinney.
