Collin County Task Force on Indigent Health Care to provide public forums
(McKinney, TX) –Earlier this year, the Collin County Commissioners Court created the Collin County Task Force on Indigent Health Care. This group of community representatives is charged with developing recommendations for the future role of county government in indigent health care. These meetings are facilitated by a group of professors and researchers at the University of Texas at Dallas.
In an effort to learn more from Collin County residents, the task force will conduct three public hearings in August:

Speaking slots will be limited to five minutes. Organizations wishing to address the Task Force should select one representative as speaker. Speaking slots may be reserved in advance by contacting the UTD Project Team at (972) 883-4940 no later than two days prior to the scheduled meeting. Speaking lists will be constructed on a first come, first served basis.
