Collin County Tax Assessor-Collector hours of operation extended; residents reminded to review tax statements

(McKinney, TX) – The Collin County Tax Assessor-Collector Office hours are extended two days a week to better serve residents. Regular hours of operation are 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday. However, the Plano office, located at 920 E. Park Blvd. (Suite 100), is open until 7 p.m. each Tuesday. Additionally, the McKinney office, located at 1800 N. Graves Drive (Suite 165 for motor vehicles and Suite 170 for property taxes), is open until 7 p.m. each Thursday.

"We are open these extra hours in my desire to give the taxpayers some alternatives, especially if they have difficulty meeting the normal office hours,” says Collin County Property Tax Assessor-Collector Ken Maun. “We will open an office in Frisco early next year in a further attempt to serve the taxpayers of Collin County.”

Residents are also encouraged to monitor the mail for annual property tax statements. Home or property owners who do not receive a statement by the end of October, are asked to call the Tax Assessor-Collector’s Office’s metro number, 972-424-1460, ext. 5020, the Plano office at 972-881-3014, or contact the McKinney office directly by calling 972-547-5020.

Residents may not only pay property taxes at these offices, but they may also receive vehicle registration (tags) at both locations.
