Collin County partners with the Carter Blood Center to host blood drive for victims of Hurricane Katrina

(McKinney, TX) – Collin County will host a blood drive by Carter Blood Center to benefit victims of Hurricane Katrina on Tuesday, September 6th from 7a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Collin County Health Care Services office, 825 N. McDonald Street in McKinney. Persons from throughout the county are asked to participate. For those unable to give blood, cash and check donations will be accepted and delivered to the American Red Cross. One-hundred percent of the monetary donations will go towards victims of Hurricane Katrina.
