Collin County Health Care Foundation announces grant funding opportunity

(McKinney, TX) - The Collin County Health Care Foundation is once again announcing the availability of grant funding for health-oriented projects and programs. A total amount of up to $200,000 will be granted to organizations throughout the county. Preferences will be given to proposals that address the health and well-being of county residents; that promote volunteer participation and citizen involvement in the project; that target at-risk, underserved or vulnerable populations; and that demonstrate new approaches and techniques in the solution of community problems.

Last year, nine programs shared in $194,000 in grant funding for the organizations' facilities and outreach programs. This is the fourth year that Collin County is opening grant opportunities to non-profit organizations.

Applications will be available beginning March 24th. Completed applications will be due by 4 p.m. on May 1st and may be mailed or hand delivered to: Collin County Health Care Foundation, Attn: Grants Committee c/o Michelle Patrick, 210 S.
