Collin County Task Force on Indigent Health Care to present final report and recommendations to Commissioners Court

(McKinney, TX) - The Collin County Task Force on Indigent Health Care will present the final report and recommendations from its 15-month study to the Commissioners Court on Monday.

Last year, the Collin County Commissioners Court created the task force. This group of community representatives was charged with developing recommendations for the future role of county government in indigent health care. These meetings were facilitated by a group of professors and researchers at the University of Texas at Dallas. In June, task force members approved a series of recommendations to present to the Commissioners Court.

The Commissioners Court meeting to receive this report is scheduled for 7 p.m. on Monday, August 14th at the Collin County Government Center, Annex B, 314 South Chestnut Street in McKinney.
