Opening of Collin County Tax Assessor-Collector Office in Frisco set for Wednesday
(McKinney, TX) –Collin County will open a new Tax Assessor-Collector Office in Frisco this Wednesday to better accommodate residents in the fast-growing city.
“I don’t think Collin County residents should have to drive more than 20 minutes to get to a tax office,” says Collin County Tax Assessor-Collector Ken Maun. “This office will eliminate the need for Frisco area residents to drive to McKinney or Plano to conduct recurring county business.”
The Tax Assessor-Collector Office will provide services such as registration renewal, title transfers, new resident registration and the collection of property taxes. A four-person staff will be housed at 6101 Frisco Square Boulevard, Suite 2000. The office will be open 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday. It will also be open an additional two hours on Wednesdays (8 a.m. to 7 p.m.). The phone number is 469-362-5801.
