Collin County to host public meetings on future plans for Outer Loop roadway development
(McKinney, TX) -- Two public meetings in early December will offer Collin County residents the chance to see updated plans and give their opinions on two segments of the Outer Loop roadway project to link the Dallas North Tollway extension to U.S. 75, and on to the Rockwall County line.
On Tuesday, December 5, a town hall meeting at Weston City Hall will begin at 6:30 p.m. to discuss the western segment of the Collin County Outer Loop that will connect the future Dallas North Tollway extension to U.S. 75. Attendees will be able to view project exhibits and ask questions beginning at 6:30 p.m. Officials will explain the highway plan’s progress beginning at 7 p.m. Weston City Hall is located at 301 Main St.
On Tuesday, December 12, an open house and public hearing is set to begin at 6:30 p.m. in McKinney on the Technically Preferred Alignment of two Outer Loop segments from the Dallas North Tollway extension to U.S. 75, and from U.S. 75 to the Rockwall County line. The alignment plan will be presented to Collin County Commissioners and the public in the Central Jury Room of the Collin County Government Center, Annex B, 314 S. Chestnut St.
