Collin County Health Care Foundation announces grant funding opportunity
(McKinney, TX) - The Collin County Health Care Foundation is once again announcing the availability of grant funding for health-oriented projects and programs. A total amount of up to $270,000 will be granted to organizations throughout the county. Preferences will be given to proposals that address the health and well-being of county residents who are U.S. citizens; that promote volunteer participation and citizen involvement in the project; that target at-risk, underserved or vulnerable populations; and that demonstrate new approaches and techniques in the solution of community problems.
Last year, nine programs shared in $200,000 in grant funding for the organizations' facilities and outreach programs. This is the fifth year that Collin County is opening grant opportunities to non-profit organizations.
Applications are now available. Completed applications will be due by 4 p.m. on June 1st, 2007 and may be mailed or hand delivered to: Collin County Health Care Foundation, Attn: Grants Committee c/o Michelle Patrick, 1800 N.
