PUBLIC SERVICE ANNOUNCEMENT
Grant money may be available for Westminster tornado victims
(McKinney, TX) – Victims of the May 9, 2006 Westminster tornado may qualify for additional assistance to help rebuild their homes through a grant currently being sought by Collin County Homeland Security. Homeowners affected by the tornado need to act quickly and fill out a survey to determine their eligibility for the HOME Investment Partnership Program, a federal program that can provide funds for homeowners to rehabilitate and reconstruct their homes through the Texas Department of Housing and Community Affairs (TDHCA).
