PUBLIC SERVICE ANNOUNCEMENT

County Road 593 to be Closed for Repair

(McKinney, TX) – Collin County workers will close County Road 593 at Price Creek to through traffic beginning Wednesday, June 13, 2007, due to large drainage culverts under the roadway in danger of failure or collapse. County Road 593 is located just north of Nevada and west of Josephine in southeast Collin County. Price Creek runs under the roadway south of FM 1778 and north of County Road 543. The road will remain closed until the 8-foot-diameter culverts are replaced with a suitable drainage system. For more information, contact Collin County Public Works at 972-548-3700.
