The Collin County Historical Commission’s Historical Grant Program started in 2009.
Its purpose is to give Collin County historical organizations an opportunity to receive funds to support heritage events, projects and programs.
The historical organizations must be members of the Collin County Historical Coalition and must have 501 (c) 3 or 13 status.

January 12 - Public notice
May 7 - Orientation meeting (mandatory) at the Heard Craig Carriage House in McKinney @ 7:00 pm
May 13-June 7 - Applications accepted
June 7 - Application deadline @ 5:00 pm, Commissioners Court (2300 Bloomdale Rd, Suite 4192, McKinney)
June 7-27 - Grant applications review by the CCHC Grant Funding Standing Committee
July - CCHC recommendations submitted to the Commissioners Court for approval
Aug 1, 2019-July 30, 2020 - Funding period
