Carry-Along Collin is Back!

Carry-Along Collin

Historical education is very important to the Collin County Historical Commission, and one of the entertaining ways they teach about our local history is through the Educational Committee’s Carry-Along Collin summer program which is being enlarged to include students, parents, families, and adults. The program invites citizens to learn and explore local museums, state and county marker sites, and historical places all over Collin County.

Carry-Along Collin Program is being revised in 2020 along the lines of the television program, The Amazing Race.  Take a look at this year’s program and see what you’ve been missing: Collin McKinney's Amazing Race.

Because of its ingenuity, the Texas State Historical Commission awarded the Collin County Historical Commission their prestigious annual Award of Excellence in Preserving History. Through our educational programs, thousands of Collin County citizens have discovered our rich local history. Come along with us!
