Collin County's
Commissioners Court begins a week of workshops to go over projections and plans for
Fiscal Year 2016's county budget and tax rate.
The first workshop begins
Monday, Aug. 10, at 3:30 p.m., just after the regular Commissioners Court session ends.
The remainder of the week's workshop schedule looks like this:

Tuesday, Aug. 11, 9 a.m.: Budget Workshop

Wednesday, Aug. 12, 9 a.m.: Budget Workshop

Thursday, Aug. 13, 9 a.m.: Tax Rate Workshop

Friday, Aug. 14, 9 a.m.: Tax Rate Workshop (NOTE: This workshop session will not be needed, since the Commissioners Court finished their discussions on Aug. 13. We will post a schedule of public meetings and hearings in the coming month as we near finalizing next fiscal year's budget and tax rate).
All meetings will be held in the fourth-floor Commissioners Courtroom, 2300 Bloomdale Rd., McKinney, TX 75071.

The final budget and tax rate will not be set until after a public meetings slated for later this month and early September. We will post all public hearings on the budget and tax on our
Public Notices and Meetings page. The 2016 Fiscal Year begins Oct. 1.
