Please NOTE: The District Clerk no longer processes U.S. Passport Applications. The U.S. Postal Service (post office) does provide this service; contact USPS on how to submit your passport application.

Two Collin County offices will be open Saturday, March 24, to make it easier for residents to stop in to complete some important paper work.

From 8 a.m. to noon, the District Clerk's office in McKinney will open for a Passport Day, so you can apply for those all-important travel documents in time for summer vacations and school trips. They also can shoot and process approved photos.

For more details, the District Clerk has provided what you need to bring along with you, links to applications, a fee schedule – it's all here.

The Passport Office is located on the second floor of the Russell A. Steindam Courts Building at 2100 Bloomdale Road in McKinney. You can also download this flyer as a reminder.

Vital Statistics

Just next door – literally -- the County Clerk's Vital Statistics Department will be open 8 a.m. to noon to issue birth certificates, marriage licenses, and assumed name filings (they won't be filing land records of any type, such as deeds).

The County Clerk's address is 2300 Bloomdale Road. You can download this flyer as a reminder.
