The Texas High School Cycling League (THSCL) will be holding their annual cycling event in Celina on April 8, 2018, from 7am to 5pm.
This race will include various county roads such as CR’s 134, 132, 138, 178, 179, 176, 177, and 135. Please review the map of the race course. This event will require a partial road closure (right lanes) as the cyclists race in a “rolling enclosure”. The cyclists race between pace and follow vehicles and require traffic to be stopped at corners so the group can turn without stopping. THSCL will have appropriate pace and follow vehicles and support staff to monitor and support each group that is on the road.
County officials are asking residents and drivers in the area to be aware of the racers in their area on April 8th. We thank you for your patience and understanding, and apologize for any inconvenience.
All roads will remain open to through traffic throughout the event.
Should you require additional information, please contact Andrew Armstrong of the THSCL at 617-480-6705, or Collin County Public Works at 972-548-3700.
