Authorities report 4 COVID-19 related deaths for July 22

Collin County Health Care Services reports four COVID-19 related deaths of county residents today, all of whom had underlying health conditions along with being diagnosed with the virus.

  • A 79-year-old Richardson woman 19 died early Sunday afternoon at a local hospital.
  • A Frisco man, age 93, died July 6 at a local hospital;
  • A 48-year-old man died Monday night at his home in the Collin County portion of Dallas; and,
  • An 82-year-old woman died Sunday evening at Mustang Creek Estates, an assisted living facility in Allen.

Out of respect for their families, no further personal information is being released.

The number of county residents who have died with COVID-19 comes to 70.

As of this afternoon, the Texas Department of State Health Services (DSHS) reported 5,614 total confirmed cases of COVID-19 in Collin County, with 4,556 of those individuals reported to have recovered.
