The Collin County Junior Livestock Association hosts the annual Collin County Junior Livestock Show, running Jan. 8-13 at Myers Park & Event Center.

The six-day show includes poultry, swine, rabbit, horticulture, shop projects, sheep, goats and cattle judging of more than a dozen Collin County FFA chapters representing schools across Collin County. Also represented at the event are several local 4H chapters.

The participants show their individual entries throughout the week and the show culminates with an auction on Saturday. The auction rewards the participants for a year of project development and livestock rearing. The show is an entertaining and educational event for the entire family. Admission is free, parking is free; concessions are available.
