Sales and Auctions

​​​​​​​Foreclosures – Collin County only provides a location for all Collin County Trustee Sales: the southwest entrance of the Jack Hatchell Collin County Administration Building located at 2300 Bloomdale Road, McKinney, TX 75071. These auctions (sometimes referred to as “First Tuesdays”) are not conducted by County staff, and our employees cannot advise the public on how to bid on or buy property at these auctions. Trustees appointed by the mortgage holders conduct and oversee the auctions, including setting the times of these auctions.

Constable Sales -- are normally held the first Tuesday of each month between 10 a.m. and 4 p.m. at the Collin County Courthouse, 2100 Bloomdale Rd., McKinney, TX 75071. All property sold by the Constable is published in the McKinney Courier Gazette or Collin County Commercial Record. Notices are also posted at the courthouse and the Collin County Constable Offices. Please check with each individual Constable’s office for sales times, places and instructions.

Sheriff’s Sales – The Sheriff’s Office periodically holds sales of real and personal property at various locations throughout the county. Please read the instructions about purchasing items at these sales.

Surplus Auctions – Collin County’s Purchasing Department periodically disposes of county surplus (retired office and computer equipment, vehicles, heavy equipment, etc) through on-line auctions..

Livestock Sales & Auctions – The county’s Animal Services department holds auctions and sales of stray livestock that have not been reclaimed by owners.​
