Meets fourth Monday each month, 6 p.m., Children's Advocacy Center.
To provide an ongoing program for the protection, care and well-being of dependent, neglected and abused children of Collin County. Members work through and with the cooperation of the Texas Department of Human Services, Child Welfare Division, to encourage, engage, promote and participate in activities that will benefit all children of the county.
Meets the third Thursday every other month, 12 p.m., in the conference room of the Collin County sub-courthouse, 920 E. Park, Plano, TX.
To assist the Board of Trustees and Collin County in the development and provision of health care and related programs for its indigent citizens; to guide, support, and nurture efforts that will enhance the quality and availability of health care services for the citizens of the county.
Meets last Wednesday each month, and with coalition of other historical groups once per quarter.
To initiate and conduct programs and activities as may be suggested by the Commissioners Court or Texas Historical Commission for preservation of the historical heritage of the county; to mark, interpret, preserve and accumulate information on the history of Collin County.
Meets the last Thursday of each month at 7 p.m., alternating among
LifePath locations in Plano and McKinney.
To provide countywide, comprehensive mental health, substance use, and intellectual and developmental disabilities services to citizens of the county through cooperative efforts of the Texas Department of Health and Human Services. Board members responsibilities include establishing Center policy, appointment and oversight of the Chief Executive Officer, and fiscal oversight of the Center.The mission is to serve individuals and families impacted by behavioral health, intellectual or developmental challenges, resulting in stronger communities.
Meets generally every other month at various locations throughout Collin County. Please refer to the LEPC page link above for agendas, minutes and location of scheduled meetings.
To provide training, testing and advancement of Collin County's Emergency Management Plan; collect, manage and provide public access to information on hazardous chemicals in Collin County; and, educate the public about risks from accidental and routine releases of chemicals. It is apartnership between Collin County's municipalities, communities and private entities to enhance hazardous materials awareness and preparedness.

To guide, support and nurture efforts to create and maintain a comprehensive open space program. The board establishes direction and policies for acquisition, development and management of park and open space areas and facilities.
Meets first Thursday each month, 6p.m., in the Commissioners Courtroom, 4th Floor, 2300 Bloomdale Rd., McKinney, TX 75071.
To advise and make recommendations to Commissioners Court on planning issues and efforts relative to future county quality and growth. Working committees are formed to identify needs and develop programs for transportation, water and waste water, solid waste management, ambulance service, and others as needed.
Meets fourth Tuesday of January, April, July & October, 7:30 a.m., Myers Park Reception Hall.
To advise and recommend actions to Commissioners Court relating to the promotion, management, welfare and success of Myers Park & Event Center. The use of the park for education and recreation purposes as described in the Deeds of Trust granted by the Myers Family shall be the foremost responsibility of the Advisory Board.
Meets monthly at the Collin County Detention Center's briefing room, 4300 Community Ave., McKinney, TX 75071.
The Collin County Bail Bond Board is responsible for licensing and regulating Bail Bond companies operating in Collin County, in accordance with
Chapter 1704, Regulation of Bail Bond Sureties, of the Texas Occupations Code.
