The Texas Coalition for Animal Protection (TCAP) provides low-cost pet wellness services, vaccinations, testing, and preventative care for cats and dogs.

Appointment Services

• Dental Cleanings – $165–$450

Important Requirements

• Pets must be under 5 years old for spay/neuter services.
• Pets must be under 10 years old for dental cleanings.
• Dogs must be on a secure leash.
• Cats must be transported in a hard-sided carrier.
• Heartworm prevention requires a negative heartworm test administered by TCAP within the previous 7 days.
• TCAP accepts Visa, Mastercard, Discover, and cash. Apple Pay and tap-to-pay are not accepted.

Breed Restrictions

TCAP does not anesthetize the following breeds or breed mixes:

• English Bulldogs
• French Bulldogs
• Pugs
• Persian Cats

Nail Trim Requirement

Pets must have a current rabies vaccination administered at least 7 days before receiving a nail trim. Proof of vaccination is required.
