Joint Operation Leads to Arrest of Denison Man for Online Solicitation of a Minor
[Collin County, Texas] - On Friday, October 25, Investigators with the Collin County Sheriff's Office Child Exploitation Unit (CEU), and Detectives with the Dallas Police Department Internet Crimes Against Children (ICAC) conducted an operation leading to the arrest of David Villines, a 40-year-old from Denison, Texas.
Villines, who is employed as a firefighter and paramedic in Oklahoma, was charged with Online Solicitation of a Minor after he attempted to meet with an individual he believed to be a 15-year-old girl but who was, in fact, an undercover investigator posing as a minor. During the online chat, Villines made statements indicating his intent to meet and engage in sexual activity. He then agreed to meet at a predetermined location, where he was promptly taken into custody.
Villines is currently being held at the Collin County Detention Facility on a $100,000 dollar bond.
