For immediate release:

On November 09, 2020, The Collin County Sheriff's Office and members of the North Texas Sheriffs Criminal Interdiction Unit (NTXCIU) assisted U.S. Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) agents in the execution of a search warrant on a residence located on County Road 574, south of Blue Ridge and east of Verona.

Inside the residence, agents discovered a conversion laboratory, where liquid methamphetamines were being converted into crystal form. Over 15 kilos of crystalized methamphetamines were seized and two defendants arrested and booked at the Collin County jail pending transfer into federal custody. Sheriff Jim Skinner stated, “We're determined to protect our communities from the scourge of methamphetamines and other dangerous drugs. The arrest of these drug traffickers and the seizure of this contraband is another example of law enforcement's commitment to that end.”
