Non-profit organizations and municipalities now have the opportunity to apply for a share of $2 million in Parks & Open Space funds.

As a result of the 2018 Collin County Bond Program, funding is available for projects including, but not limited to, land acquisition, trails, and capital improvements for parks and open spaces located within Collin County.

In the coming days, the application packets will be mailed to all communities and previous applicants. Applications are also available here, or by contacting the Collin County Engineering Department, 4690 Community Avenue, Suite 200, McKinney, TX 75071.

The deadline for submitting applications is Tuesday, July 6, 2021, at 4 p.m.

The Parks Foundation Advisory Board will conduct a review process between July and September with funding recommendations being submitted to the Collin County Commissioners Court in October 2021.
