Press Release: Shooting near New Hope, TX

For Immediate Release:

On December 8, 2021 at approximately 1:47pm, Collin County Sheriff's Office deputies were dispatched to a shooting in the 200 block of W. New Hope Road.

Upon arrival, deputies located a 24-year-old male inside a vehicle who had sustained a gunshot wound.

The male was transported to Medical Center McKinney where he was pronounced deceased.

This investigation is on-going and the victim's identity is being withheld pending next of kin notification.

We have no further information to release at this time.
