The office of the Collin County Fire Marshal will perform Annual Fire Prevention Inspections for foster and adoption families in Collin County at no cost.

Residential

The office of the Collin County Fire Marshal will perform an in-home fire inspection in the unincorporated areas of Collin county, at no charge, for the following:

  • Foster Care
  • Adoption
  • Child Day Care Facilities
  • Adult Day Care Facilities

Commercial

The office of the Collin County Fire Marshal performs annual fire inspections on businesses in the unincorporated areas of Collin County.

A deputy will stop by your business and perform the inspection. Upon completion of the inspection, you will be given an inspection sheet that will inform you of any violations that must be addressed and whether you passed inspection, you will be sent an invoice for the annual inspection fee to be paid.
