The Accessibility Resource Wall offers a variety of tools to enhance your museum experience. These items are free to use with no complicated checkout procedures. They are available in clear plastic bags hanging on the gray shed to the left of the entrance. Please use any of the following during your visit, and return the used items to the Return Bucket (at the same location the items were retrieved) for disinfection before reuse.
- Color Film
- Large Magnifying Glasses
- Ear Muffs with Padding
- Fidget stones and bracelets
- Sunflower Lanyard with Social Engagement Cards
Mobility
- One handicap/van access parking space is less than 10 feet from the museum entrance. All parking spaces are within 60 feet of the museum entrance. Level parking area, no inclines.
- One handicap unisex bathroom with grab bars. Bench inside bathroom. (Issues are: No high blade faucet knobs. Incorrect distance of toilet from walls.) The second bathroom is unisex as well.
- There are no benches or chairs in the exhibit areas. However, rolling desk chairs are available in the workshop space and can be moved into the exhibit spaces. No permission needed.
- The total walking distance from the front of the museum, through the exhibits, to the restoration spaces, and back again is 0.25 miles (1,320 feet).
- Floors are concrete and mostly level. Issues include raised door thresholds at the museum and bathroom hallway entrance, as well as large cracks and divots in the floor.
- The typical entrance is through a large garage-style roll-up door, which provides easy access for drop-offs, walk-ups, and wheelchair users.
- In inclement weather, the roll-up door is closed, and the solid metal warehouse door is the entrance. Issues are: no awning for protection, a narrow access point for wheelchairs or scooters, and a heavy door to open with a traditional round doorknob.

- No audio or braille transcriptions are available for the exhibit texts. The only exhibit designed for BLV is the "Vanishing Space" exhibition, which includes tactile elements and braille.
- No texture map is available for the museum or restrooms.
- There is no texture path in the museum, and the barriers to the exhibit are visual rather than physical.
