Farm Museum: Support the Museum
The Collin County Farm Museum is dedicated to preserving and restoring its rural heritage. On Wednesday & Saturday visitors can watch as different restoration projects take shape.
We welcome anyone interested in volunteering! Volunteers get to work on projects ad learn from experienced team members.

The Collin County Farm Museum understands how important your antiques are to you and your family. These heirlooms hold special memories and tell your family's story. That's why we work to collect, preserve, and restore historic artifacts so their stories can be shared with everyone.
We also welcome financial contributions to help with restoration projects, exhibits and educational programs.
Current Projects
The staff of the Collin County Farm Museum are currently in the process of training individuals to assist with workshops and tours/demonstrations. Thank you to our current Education Volunteers: LaShell Martinez, Lyndee Yarger, and Debbie Winford

We are looking for individuals or groups to research and construct exhibits at the museum. These can be youth groups such as: Boy Scouts, Girl Scouts, American Heritage Girls, or 4-H.

Former volunteers, Jeff Phelps and Roger Meier (d.2021), were responsible for creating the Restoration Program that still operates today under the leadership of John Watkins, Kevin Smith, and Brian Larson. Phelps and Meier are pictured here with their completed restoration of this 1948 Massey Harris tractor.

Here's a video of the tractor in action.
