Our Mission

The County Court at Law Clerk's Office is committed to providing exceptional customer service while supporting the seven statutory County Courts at Law.

Our Office

Our office is responsible for filing all Class A and Class B misdemeanor cases, as well as Class C appeals.

In addition, we process civil lawsuits within the court's jurisdictional limits of $500 to $325,000, along with petitions for nondisclosure, occupational driver's license cases, NISI proceedings, and cases appealed from the Justice of the Peace Courts.

Please Note: The Collin County Clerk does not accept filings by fax. All filings, along with the appropriate fee, must be mailed to the County Court at Law Clerk's office, submitted through an electronic filing system or filed in person.

Helpful Information

  • All bond checks will be mailed.
  • Trust Handling Fees - Texas Local Government Code 117.055 states that when the County Clerk is ordered to release funds from the Court Registry all transactions processed will be assessed a trust handling fee.
