Partners in Local Historical Preservation and Education

The Collin County Historical Coalition is an umbrella organization for all of the historical groups in the county. Its purpose is to encourage, support, and promote all of the historical groups in the county and their activities. The Collin County Historical Commission sponsors the Historical Coalition.

At present all Collin County Historical Coalition meets at theMPAC (McKinney Performing Arts Center) four times a year at 9 am.

A group becomes a member of the Historical Coalition by attending a meeting. There are no dues. A group that is a member of the Historical Coalition and is a 501(c)3 or 501(c)13 is eligible to apply for the Collin County Historical Commission Grant Program.
