Payment Instructions

Misdemeanor Court Costs, Fines, or Attorney Fees

All misdemeanor court costs, fines, and attorney fees should be paid to the Collin County Clerk either by mail, by phone, in person or online:

  • Payment by mail can be made by sending a personal check, cashier's check or money order payable to Collin County Clerk and mailed to the address below:
  • Collin County Clerk 2100 Bloomdale Road, Suite 12165 McKinney, TX 75071

  • Payment by phone is accepted when you pay by credit card. Call the County Clerk's Office at (972) 548-6420 to make your credit card payment over the phone. Please be sure to have your case number ready when you call.
  • Payment in person can be made by cash, personal check, cashier's check, money order or credit card by visiting the County Clerk's office at the address below. Checks and money orders must be made payable to the Collin County Clerk.

Felony Court Costs, Fines, or Attorney Fees

For felony cases disposed April 16, 2007 and after, please follow these payment instructions below for court costs, fines, and attorney fees only:

  • Payment by mail can be made by sending a cashier's check, personal in-state check or money order only payable to Collin County District Clerk and mailed to the address below:
  • Collin County District Clerk P.O. Box 578 McKinney, TX 75070

  • Payment by Cash or Credit Card is accepted in person only at the District Clerks Office located in the new Courthouse. MasterCard and Visa are the only credit cards which are accepted.

For all felony cases disposed on or before April 15, 2007, all payments should be made to Community Supervision and Corrections Department.
