Marriage licenses will be issued without an appointment. Residency in Collin County is no longer required. Please
complete the application for a marriage license online
prior to your arrival.
Services at the Plano location include issuing birth certificates, death certificates, marriage licenses, informal marriage licenses and recording assumed names.
Vital Statistics
Requests for birth certificates, death certificates, assumed names and certified copies of marriage records may be submitted by mail. Applications for birth records and death records must be notarized and include a legible copy of your government issued photo ID as well as exact payment in the form of a money order, check or cashier's check.
