Misdemeanor Court Costs, Fines, or Attorney Fees

All misdemeanor court costs, fines, and attorney fees must be paid to the Collin County Clerk. Payments may be made by mail, by phone, in person, or online.

  • Payment by Mail: You may pay by personal check, cashier's check, or money order made payable to Collin County Clerk.
  • Payment by Phone: Credit card payments are accepted by phone. To make a payment, call the County Clerk's Office at (972) 548-6420. Please have your case number available when you call.
  • Payment in Person: You may pay in person with cash, personal check, cashier's check, money order, or credit card by visiting the County Clerk's Office.
  • Payment Plans: If you have questions regarding your misdemeanor payment agreement, please contact Court Collections at (972) 548-3899.

Felony Court Costs, Fines, or Attorney Fees

For felony cases disposed of on or after April 16, 2007, please follow the payment instructions below for court costs, fines, and attorney fees only.

  • Payment by Mail: Payment may be made by cashier's check, personal in-state check, or money order only. Make all payments payable to Collin County District Clerk and mail them to:

  • Payment in Person: Cash and credit card payments are accepted in person only at the District Clerk's Office located in the new courthouse. Only Mastercard and Visa are accepted.

  • Cases Disposed On or Before April 15, 2007: For all felony cases disposed of on or before April 15, 2007, all payments must be made to the Community Supervision and Corrections Department.
