Mission Statement
The mission of the Collin County Involuntary Mental Health Commitment department is to manage all mental health commitment cases accurately and confidentially. This office is dedicated to assisting the public in determining the need for mental health warrants and working collaboratively with hospitals, mental health providers, and community agencies to ensure the safety and best interests of individuals experiencing mental health crises in Collin County.
Mental Health Warrants
Finding help for a loved one experiencing a mental health crisis can be overwhelming and confusing. A mental health warrant may be issued when an individual poses a danger to themselves or others.
